Quarterly Meetings IVA meets quarterly to provide educational seminars for both doctors and staff. The meetings serve as a valuable opportunity for doctors to network and gain insight in practice management. Topics at recent meetings are medical billing, staff training, marketing through the internet, HR issues and attaining personal goals. Round Table Discussion To supplement quarterly large group meetings, IVA partners with key companies in the eye care industry to provide smaller round table discussions. Doctors interested in the current topic are welcome to attend. These meetings provide further opportunity for IVA doctors to share and exchange ideas that are successful within their own practices. Networking In addition to quarterly large group meeting and smaller intimate round table dinner meetings IVA has a unique online forum that can be utilized to communicate with the group on a daily basis. IVA members can log onto the specially designed “forum” through the website and communicate with all members immediately. Members use this tool to find answers to questions they may have, find optical supplies they may need, or to find help in their offices immediately. Management Training Courses Practice management courses are sponsored by key companies that partner with IVA. These seminars are designed to help practice owners better manage their practice. They typically cover topics such as finance, purchasing strategies, marketing and staff training. |
